March Artist of the Month: Fragile

Fragile is a fantastic local band from WI. Their style combines well crafted rock music with beautiful string arrangements. Fragile have just finished their debut album, "This Land Will Be Civilized" where they were fortunate enough to work with the legendary David Bottrill and Bob Ludwig.

February Artist of the Month: The Bitter Wigs

Another cold month and another great local Artist of the Month and Schroeder loyals: The Bitter Wigs.

January Artist of the Month: Rev. Billy Simmons

January brings the new year and a great local artist and Schroeder loyalist, Rev Billy Simmons.

Billy has worked on a variety of musical projects since the 90's and continues to to this day, including a solo record: Rollscanhardly in 2009.

December Artist of the Month: Beyond Words

"Beyond Words is an original alternative rock group based out of the Chicagoland area. In the short period of three years, the band has gone from local venues to national shows with national touring artists such as Seether, Hurt, Red, Cavo, Egypt Central, Pop Evil, Rev Theory, and Clutch. The band has a distinct style of mainstream guitar melodies and a strong lead vocalist. Real-life experiences fuel the heart-felt lyrics and melodies are influenced by all genres of rock and nu metal."

November Artist of the Month: Marbin

November's Artist of the Month is the great Chicago jazz duo, and Schroeder clients, Marbin.

"The group's unique style combines the use of modern textures and soundscapes with traditional forms."  Marbin recently finished their debut album in June and are currently performing around the city.
